Lifan Cars History

There're 8 LIFAN car service manuals PDF, spare parts catalog.

Lifan is a brand founded by Yin Mingshan in 1992 as a motorcycle repair shop with only nine employees.

The historical name of this workshop is "Chongqing Hongda Auto Fittings Research Centre".

But already in 1997, they began to use the modern name - Lifan Industry Group. From the repair of motorcycles, after some time, they switched to their production.

In 2003, the assembly of buses began.

And in 2004, the company ranked first in terms of motorcycle production in the domestic Chinese market among private automakers (there are also a number of state-owned ones).

By 2009, Lifan ranked 5th among all motorcycle manufacturers in China.

Lifan has been involved in automotive topics since 2003, when Chongqing Special Purpose Use Vehicle Manufacturing Co Ltd was acquired.

By 2005, the first production model Lifan LF6361 / 1010 was ready, a five-door minivan and a pickup truck built on the basis of Daihatsu Atrai.

Then a completely independent model, the Lifan 520 sedan (known as the Lifan Breez), went into production.

It was in the second half of 2012 that sales of the very successful Lifan X60 SUV began.

And already in 2015, sales of a restyled version of this crossover began, and they also offered a new SUV called the Lifan X50.

In 2017, a couple of new models became available at once - the first Lifan Murman sedan and the second Lifan MyWay SUV.

Starting in 2018, sales of another Lifan X70 crossover began.
