Jensen Motors is a company from the English town of West Bromwich, which produced sports cars of the GT class.

Started as a coachbuilder until in 1936 it produced its own S-Type with a Ford V8 engine.

Subsequently, she delivered bodywork for Austin-Healey and completed the assembly of Volvo P1800 and Sundeam Tiger sports cars.

The most famous Jensen developments are the three-door Interceptor coupe (1966-1976) and its all-wheel drive version FF (1966-1971), which were equipped with American Chrysler V8 engines.

The Jensen firm itself went bankrupt in 1976, but in 1984-1993 and 1998-2002. attempts have been made to revive it.

The Jensen Interceptor still has a lot of fans, for whom the Jensen International Automotive (JIA) workshop converts used copies into new ones.

To date, there are three firms that call themselves the successors of Jensen Motors.

Founded in 2010, Jensen International Automotive (JIA) specializes in the complete restoration of used Jensen Interceptors.

It completely redesigns the interior and installs under the hood a new 6. 2-liter V8 engine from GM, in naturally aspirated (Interceptor S) or compressor (Interceptor R) versions.

In 2011, CPP Global Holdings announced its intention to release a modern interpretation of the Interceptor.

On her request, Healey Sports Cars Switzerland produced sketches for a four-seat GT coupe to be built at the former Jaguar factory in Coventry in 2014.

There is also Tim Hirley's Jensen Group, which is going to enter the market with two models at once: Jensen Interceptor 2 and Jensen GT.

In 2016, sit made a clay model of the Jensen GT and agreed to sell the car through Jensen International. Automotive for around ? 350, 000 a unit.
